Another good day on the 5.8 and Switch. To enjoy this place you have to except that you'll getted absolutely becalmed on a regular basis and plan your manoeuvres for the gusts, a bit like Rutland but warmer with Turquoise waters and the odd turtle.

Managed to get a few good jumps and have started practising popping the board for Vulcans though I feel I've taken a few steps back as my timings out.

Found out that the Club Mistral centre will close when we leave and is unlikely to open next season due to declining interest. It was a good job I pre-booked as I might have had a wedding with no windsurfing!

Another excellent day tempered by the sense of doom due to the impending closure.
